Vrsar, a small town in the Istria county of Croatia was first part of the Venetian Commonwealth, then the Kingdom of Italy, then the Austrian Littoral, then Italy again (though it ceased to be a kingdom), then Yugoslavia, all before being incorporated into the Republic of Croatia in 1991.
